Palm Springs is released on American streaming platform Hulu on 10th July, 2020

This much acclaimed film is directed by Max Barbakow and surprisingly it’s his debut direction. He surprised filmbuffs and critics by showcasing a fresh and full of life recipe using old formula. His direction fills color in every frame and that’s the USP of the film.

Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti gave such a heartwarming and charming performance, They drive the whole film on a very different level. They keep you hooked throughout the film. JK Simmons can still turn anything humourous and amazing.

The Film revolves around a boy who’s stucked in a time loop forever on the wedding day of his girlfriend’s elder sister. He stops worrying about his life and just go with the flow everyday with the same thing until his girlfriend’s sister stuck with him in a time loop too and then the ruckus starts.
Well the theme of the film is not new, it’s first introduced in an American classic ‘Groundhog Day’ starring the great Bill Murry but the way the film is shown by the director and the artists in it, It’s commendable because putting the old formula on a new table in a very sensible way is not a child’s play.

Cinematography is smartly done by Quyen Tran, he showed every frame in a very beautiful manner that it looks so fresh and eye catching.
Music is the highlight of the film that shapes it very well. It stands with the moments that film shows and makes it more intriguing.
Costume and Production Design is too good, It has colors, beauty and an amazing texture that makes sense at every moment and gives power to the film.

Watch it if you love sci-fi drama and romantic films with a unique touch, It’s one of those feel good films that never bore you.
